At the last meeting the following officers were elected, their terms starts now:
Tournament Director – John Pozarski

Secretary – Jason Titus
Fed Rep – John Pozarski
Webmaster – Guy Knudson
It was noted that we should identify a conservation project for the upcoming year. Two options were mentioned as possibilities: creel survey on the MNBF website or a boat launch cleanup after one of the tourneys.
There was a correction requested on the GHB website. The state waters tournament was accidentally listed as a MNBF tournament, but is actually a club tournament.
The following members still owe club dues: Steve, Nick, and Tony. Please pay Pat asap.
John made a report of the federation meeting. The report is summarized in the federation meeting minutes distributed to all members, so they will not be included. The result of the meeting, however, was that two items were up for a vote. The first was to allow underwater cameras for the official prefishing period of the state tournament. The second was to all more alternatives to advance from the alternates tournament to the state tournament based on the number of no-shows. All members were asked to vote on each issue.
The next federation meeting will be held February 15, and will be a workshop. Everyone is invited to attend.
John stated that the ramps for the upcoming tournament season are yet to be determined. The schedule is as follows:
East/West Rush June 11th
Sarah June 25th
Lobster July 16th
Miltona July 17th
Maple August 21st
State Waters September 17th
The Viking motel in Alexandria was mentioned for people to stay for the Lobster/Miltona tournaments. If you mention the internet rate, you should be able to get 2 nights for $85.00.
Rooms for the upcoming state tournament were discussed. The Viking motel will charge the club $1600 for the week. That is slightly higher than last year.
The club banquet will be held at Nickelow’s Café & Bar (Hwy 65 south of Capra’s) on February 5th. There will be a cach bar, and food will be served buffet style. Scott will be in charge of getting door prizes for club members and guests. He will spend $300 for those.
The garage sale date is not yet determined, but will early to mid May. Please bring donations for the sale. Items do not have to be fishing related.
John looked into getting club jackets. They would cost approximately $60 including lettering. He had a choice of colors, and we discussed whether everyone should get the same color or each choose. No decision was made.
Pat Corrigan is still trying to get a sponsor for the club to provide discounts on equipment. Joe Semler said he would talk to someone at Capra’s about getting them to be a sponsor.
The next meeting will be at the club banquet February 5th at 7:00 PM.
