Golden Hook Bassers Meeting Minutes

Meeting Date: 11/18/2006

Meeting Place: Capra's

Meeting Time: 9:30

In attendance were the following club members: Pat C., Pat P., Steve M., Chris, John, Jason, Seth

It was discussed that the reservations for the state team at Ivanhoe are not being honored. There was a problem with a prior reservation being misplaced, and they are booked full. The state team will investigate other options, and Chris will make sure something is reserved.

Nominations were discussed, and no new names were provided for the upcoming elections. Given that no position had more than one nominee, all nominees were elected without any voting. The new officers are:

President – Pat C.

Secretary – Jason

Tournament Director – Steve O.

Federation Representative – John

Youth Director – Tony

Conservation Director – Pat P.

Webmaster – Guy

Club funds were discussed, specifically to determine whether a fundraiser is going to be necessary. Pat mentioned that some of the numbers discussed at the previous meeting were not entirely accurate and complete. He also discussed the fact that we may be able to get trophies from another supplier slightly cheaper, which would help with the bottom line. The catalog he presented showed plaques for $12.00 that everyone thought looked fine for the club.

At this point, no fundraiser is being pursued, due to the fact that we may have options to make funds by selling Outkast merchandise. Until we know the details of that, and have a better understanding of all costs for the year, we don't yet know enough the make a decision regarding a fundraising project.

Nominations for new lakes were opened. The following additional lakes were named:

· Platte/Sullivan

· Wapagasset

· Deer

The group voted to include a Wisconsin tournament at the beginning of the year, and also voted Bone as the lake. Further discussion and voting of dates and lakes resulted in the following schedule of lakes for the year:

There will be a State Federation meeting on December 2^nd. The next club meeting will be held January 27^th, at 9:30 in Capra's.
