Golden Hook Bassers Meeting

John started with the Fed report. The Minnesota B.A.S.S. Federation Nation was named Federation of the Year at the recent B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Championship held in Gadsden, Alabama. The prestigious annual award goes to the state organization that best puts together a well-rounded program involving conservation, youth and community service. Sponsorship deals with Lowrance and Fig Rig Rods were just about in place and info will be passed on to those who asked about them when available. State Tournament permits for Leech and Woman Lakes have been secured. You can fish the rice on Leech but boat cannot be in the rice.

Steve O followed with the Tournament Directors report: Will start drawing permits for GHB tournaments soon. Has just about all contact information secured.

Steve is also looking at getting a washtub for weigh-ins to make things easier.

New Business: Pat C asked to have dates and times of Fed and Club meetings added to web site. Also add the tournament dates as well. Will be passed on to Webmaster.

Pat asked if anyone had interest in Fig Rig rods. He was sending in an order for the tourney rods and wanted to know if anyone else wanted in on it to save shipping.

We will not know till after May 1^st how many from the club will be going.

Nick stated that his son AJ will be joining the club.

Anyone wanting to work the Fed Booth at the Sport show 3/27 thru 4/1 can contact Steve Hilbert (612 382-6527) to set up a time.

East region lake cleanup scheduled for April 1^st. We will get a list of lakes and times by the next meeting.

Next Fed meeting is March 3 at Medina. Next Club Meeting March 10 at Capras at 9:30

Mike thanked us for our business last year and again made the cash back offer to us. He also had some samples of plastics that he could get if there was interest. He also donated some plastics for our banquet door prizes as well as a 50 dollar grand prize. Thanks Mike.
