Paperwork is due August 20th
The Saw Mill is the head quarters, Hidden Haven is HQ for the alternates tournament
There will be a speed limit on the river
It was discussed that we should participate in the creel survey as our club conservation event, in addition to any informal lake cleaning that we do at tournaments.
Wayne informed the members that all required permits have been secure with the exception of two, and those have been verbally granted and the paperwork is pending. The Sheriff Departments know the club schedules and will be out looking on lakes they know have event scheduled for them.
Get your insurance to Wayne by the next meeting. We will also be doing the draw at the next meeting, so attendance is requested by everyone, along with a firm schedule of when people will be unable to fish. We have 9 boaters and 9 nonboaters so we need to make sure we make arrangements for tournaments when boaters are not able to fish.
Pat reported that our bank account now has just over $1400 with all of our bills paid out except the state tournament expenses.
Guy reported that the website is up to date.
John will be creating a point system to run side-by-side with the pounds system for the upcoming year. Pounds will still be the deciding system for the state team.
Steve W. Has 7 or 8 scouts that would be ready and willing to participate in a fishing outing for our youth event.
Leena Lures is providing a 20% discount on tackle (items on the website, including Rogue Rods). If you are planning to order anything we could put together a club order at some point, so please speak up.
Outkast is discontinuing their Bismuth jigs. The are now $2.50 each.
Sportsmens Warehouse locations in Minnesota are all closing. As of the meeting, they were offering 10-20% off on merchandise.
